Track & Field’s Raymond Kibet Earns National Title in 400m
NEW ORLEANS – The 2017 track & field season may be in the books but for rising sophomore Raymond Kibet, his biggest victory came over the weekend after claiming his first national title in his home country of Kenya. Kibet becomes the first Tulane track & field athlete to qualify for the World Championships while still in school.
Running in his signature event, the 400m, Kibet punched his ticket at the Kenya National Track & Field Championships with a first place finish and time of 45.60.
