Biography

2016 – Jumped 23-7.50 to place 21^st at the NCAA Track & Field Championships in the long jump … Placed second in the long jump at the Pac-12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a leap of 24-8.25 … Set his college best record long lump to win the Jim Bush Collegiate Invitational with a mark of 25-0 … Placed second in the same event at the UCLA vs. USC Dual Meet with a jump of 24-9.75 … Won the long jump at the Bruin Legends of T&F Invitational with a mark of 24-2.50 … Ran his best indoor 60m of the year at the Lumberjack Team Challenge with a time of 7.12 … Placed third at the MPSF Indoor Track and Field Championships in the long jump to set his year’s best indoor record of 24-5.75.

2015 - Competed in the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the long jump with a mark of 22-8 and took 41st place … also competed in the Pac-12 Championships in the long jump with a mark of 24-2.50 to place seventh … at the UCLA vs. USC dual meet had a wind-aided mark of 23-3.50 to finish third to contribute to the Bruins scoring. Indoor MPSF Track & Field Championships competed in long jump with a lifetime best of 24-4.25 to finish fourth overall … Don Kirby Elite jumped 23-3.50 and placed 11th … at the New Mexico Invitational jumped 24-0.25 to place 4th.

2014 - Competed in six outdoor meets and four indoor meets as a true freshman … Ran the 100m, 4x100m and long jumped for the Bruins … Posted a best long jump of 23-11.50 to place third in the dual meet against rival USC … Leaped an indoor best of 23-9 to win the long jump at the NAU Invitational.

2013 -  Did not compete.

High School - Earned two varsity letters in football (2010 and 2011) and track and field (2011 and 2012) at Mater Dei HS ... Was captain of the track and field team in 2012 ... Earned Sprint MVP and Field MVP ... Nominee for the OCC Athlete of the Year ... Won league championships in 2011 and 2012 ... Was a CIF finalist in 2012 ... Ranked in the top 10 in California ... Holds second fastest school records in the 100m (10.67), 200m (21.6), high jump (6-6) and long jump (22-7) ... Was also a member of the second fastest 4x100m relay team in school history.
