We've seen numerous reports of record turnout and received a few pictures we felt capture the Thanksgiving running excitement perfectly. A record number of nearly 20000 runners hit the streets at the 14th annual Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash in Indianapolis. 12000 runners took part in the Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon events hosted by the Atlanta Track Club. Members of the Sheboygan County Shoreline Striders at their local turkey trot which hosted more than 1600 runners.
