2015 (XC): Placed fourth overall at the ASU Invitational with a time of 20:56.30 in the four-mile race… Placed 10th at the George Kyte Classic with a time of 23:42.90 in the 5.5-mile race.
2015: Leary redshirted during the indoor season … Outdoors, took fifth place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:30.26 at the Arizona-ASU Dual meet, good for a fifth place finish … Finished in 12th in the 800-meter race at the Willie Williams Classic with a time of 1:58.84 … Ran the 1,500-meter race at the ASU Invitational and finished in 23rd place with a time of 3:56.05.
2014 (XC): Leary earned three top-15 finishes during the cross country season … He finished in eighth place at the ASU Invite by running four miles in 21:07.06 … Ran 4.25 miles in 22:16 at the Dave Murray Invite and finished in 10th place … Took 15th place at the George Kyte Classic with a 8K time of 24:01.0 … Finished the season at the Pac-12 Championships and ran 8K in 26:39.
BEFORE ARIZONA: Leary attended the University of Oregon for a year and posted a 1,500-meter time of 3:58.
HIGH SCHOOL: Leary graduated from Livermore High School and was a three-time letterwinner on the track and a one-time letterwinner as a cross country runner … He was named the track and field team’s Most Valuable Player his senior year … Leary earned all-conference honors from the East Bay Athletic League for his work on the cross country team … He also earned North Coast Section all-section honorable mention accolades.
PERSONAL: He is the son of Pete and Stacey Leary … He is pursuing a degree in business.
