Steve Nesheim, Athletic Director Mt. Shasta High School

Steve Nesheim( “nesh – um”) is a native of Portland, Oregon, and has lived in the Mt. Shasta community since 1997.He has been an educator at four California high schools since 1987; currently on staff at Mt. Shasta. Mr. Nesheim has coached Cross Country and Track & Field in California since 1983. He has served as Mt. Shasta’s Athletic Director since 2008. Steve has coached 100’s of distance runners; several state, section and league individual champions, state meet qualifiers, league, and section and state championship teams.



Steve Nesheim received a BS in Psychology in 1983, and completed a credential program - both at California State University, Hayward in 1986. Mr. Nesheim is credentialed to teach both art and social science subjects. He currently teaches Art 1, 2, 3, Art 4/AP, Ceramics 1 and Ceramics 2/AP.
