DII Regional Rankings – Week 3

October 4, 2011

NEW ORLEANS - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released week three regional rankings for the NCAA Division II 2011 season on Tuesday. All number one teams from a week ago remain at the top spot with the exception of Adams State who took over as the new No. 1 in the women's Central region.

New to the regional top ten for the first time this week are:

MEN - Missouri S&T (Midwest), Benedict (South), Augusta State (Southeast).

WOMEN - West Texas A&M (South Central), Eastern New Mexico (South Central), Montevallo (Southeast).

USTFCCCA Regional Cross Country Rankings are determined subjectively by a single member coach in each respective region. The regional representative is tasked with weighing returning team strength with current-season results in determining predicted team finishes at the NCAA Regional Championships.
