One of the cameramen also works at Long Beach Poly High, which allowed them access to film in the locker rooms. Several of the cast and crew lived in Hollywood, and others live in Orange County, while leading actor Jamie Nieto – a four-time USA Track and Field high jump champion – drove all the way up from San Diego every weekend for two years to be involved with the film.
