MEN'S PRESEASON
NATIONAL COACHES' POLL

In the 78-year history of the NCAA Division I Men’s Cross Country Championships, only 11 schools have ever won back-to-back national titles.
If Tuesday’s National Coaches’ Poll ultimately rings true on November 19 in Terre Haute, Indiana, then Syracuse could be the 12th addition to that list.

Last year after his team rolled to a national title in one of the most dominant performances in history, New Mexico coach Joe Franklin cautioned anybody from using the word, “dynasty.”
Well, Franklin’s colleagues think he built something special in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
