Fresno State: (2008) Shattered the Fresno State hammer record with a throw of 203-4 (61.98m) at the Mt. SAC Relays ... championed the hammer throw at the WAC Outdoor Championship ... placed sixth at the NCAA West Regional and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship ... placed 13th at the NCAA Championship, one place shy of qualifying for the finals in the event ... consistently ranked in the top 20 hammer throwers in the NCAA ... also championed the weight throw at the WAC Indoor Championship.

Fresno City College: A junior college standout thrower ... earned All-America honors in shot put, hammer throw and discus ... made the state finals in all three ... took second in hammer and shot put and third in discus ... put up big personal bests, hammer (183-9), discus (155-8), shot put (44-10) and javelin (189-11).

Avenal HS: A five-sport athlete in high school ... participated in volleyball, tennis and track and field three years, as well as picking up softball and basketball for one year each. .. was a track and field state finalist, earning MVP honors and breaking the school record in the discus.
