Jantzen Oshier (Trabuco Canyon, Mission Viejo, CA) placed second in the mile in 4:06.00.

Ammar Moussa (Arcadia, CA) won the two mile in 8:51.80.

Long Beach Poly boys' 3200 meter relay team of sophomores Christopher Hall 1:53.00, Myles Andrews 1:52.79, Aaron Harris 1:55.27, and Christopher Penn 1:47.71 set a new national record of 7:28.75. The old national record of 7:30.67 was set by Albemarle, Charlottesville, Virginia on April 25, 2009. The old California record of 7:31.69 was set Poly earlier this year.

The Loyola, Los Angeles boys' 4xMile realy team won in 16:14.32 (Gedyon 4:11.68). Unfortunately, the third relay legs only ran 3 laps. I can't understand why officials can't count laps.

Loyola placed fourth in the distance medley relay in 10:04.21 (Gedyon 4:08.04).

The Harvard-Westlake girls' sprint medley relay team of sophomore Lauren Hansson, Hilary King, junior Cami Chapus, and junior Amy Weissenbach (2:05.82 800m) won in 3:55.12.

The Harvard-Westlake, North Hollywood girls' distance medley relay team of junior Amy Weissenback 3:24.85 1200m, sophomore K.C. Cord 58.46 400m, sophomore Lauren Hansson 2:13.70 800m, and junior Cami Chapus 4:45.23 1600m, set a new national record of 11:22.23 at the New Balance National in Greensboro, North Carolina. The old national record of 11:31.26 was set by Blacksburg, Virginia last year. The Blacksburg splits: Kathleen Stevens 3:31.56, Sarah Dorrell 58.97, Hannah Brown 2:12.61, Joanna Stevens 4:48.14. The old California record of 11:34.65 was set by Corona del Mar, Newport Beach in 2006.

Alex Collatz (Stockdale, Bakersfield) won the discus at 153-2.
