The Bruin women's track and field team finished fourth at the MPSF Indoor Championships in Seattle, WA behind several impressive performances by Nicole Leach, Krishna Curry and the 4x400m relay team.

Leach ran an NCAA provisional qualifier and indoor-best time of 54.28 to win the quarter-mile event. Her time ranks in the top-20 in the NCAA this season. She also anchored the 4x400m relay team of sophomore Ashlea McLaughlin, freshman Camilla Dencer and senior Krystin Lacy to the No. 3 time in the NCAA this season (3:37.19) as the foursome finished second overall. Dencer also competed in the 400m, running a lifetime-best 54.57 to finish third overall.

Curry ran nearly a two second PR in the 800m as she finished second with a lifetime-best and NCAA qualifier of 2:07.51. That mark also ranks in the top-20 in the NCAA this season.

Sophomore Lindsay Rowe placed third in the 60m hurdles in a time of 8.59. Lacy was fifth in the 60m in a time of 7.57.

In field event action, senior Rhonda Watkins tied for fourth in the high jump with a mark of 5-8.50. Sophomore Ke'Nyia Richardson jumped an indoor-best 40-4.25 to finish second in the triple jump. In the shot put, freshman Brittany Borman finished seventh with a toss of 45-1.
