2nd Annual Yolo Striders Track and Field Club Summer Pole Vault Championship Series

Vaulters, Coaches, Parents,   This summer, YSTFC has scheduled 6 all-comer pole vault meets and like last year we will run the series as a championship series. The first five meets will be run as regular meets and the final meet will be the championship meet with trophies awarded to the winners in each of four divisions: HS Boys, HS Girls, Open/Collegiate/Master Men’s and Open/Collegiate/Master Women’s. Graduating seniors will be considered in the HS division.   Winners will be determined by adding the vaulter’s final height at each of the first five meets to three times the final height at the championship meet. The winner will be the vaulter that has the highest cumulative height within each division. Winners will receive their trophies at the championship meet. We will also award a PR medal to each meet’s most improved vaulter. We’re pretty excited about this format and we hope you will be too.   The cost is $10 per vaulter. The meets are free to spectators, so come and support your favorite vaulter. This summer’s meets will be held at Bella Vista High School as follows:

This is to accommodate our Last Chance Elite series. The remaining meets will start at 11:00 AM. Door open at 9:00 AM.

USATF 2016 For insurance purposes, a valid USATF membership number and a liability waiver is required. Go to usatf.org/membership/application/index.asp to renew your membership or join USATF. Remember, a valid USATF membership number is required to participate in the meet.   Liability Waiver Download the liability waiver from the YSTFC Website at ystfc.org. Have your parents fill it out bring it to your first meet. Don’t worry, if you forget yours, we’ll have copies. Just remember to bring a parent. Liability forms are kept on file and are only required once for the series each year.   *Come early and meet some of America’s greatest Pole Vaulters as they vi for a chance to compete at the 2016 US Olympic Trials in Eugene OR. YSTFC is hosting a 4 meet series over two separate weekends in June 6/10, 6/12, 6/24 and 6/26. Friday meets will start at 5:00 PM and Sunday meets will start at 11AM.
