Missed watching my Kaity run at USTAF XC Nationals this morning but she had a pretty good cheering crew(thanks for letting me steal the photo Brooke Agee!). She had a fantastic race and a 7th place finish - and perhaps a spot on the USA team racing in Scotland in February. 😊

I saw your Kaity this morning. I first ran cross country in Golden Gate Park in the fall of 1956 as a high sophomore at Abraham Lincoln High School of San Francisco. We ran 1.9 miles. We trained at the Polo Fields. Little did I know at that time what an effect this would have on the remainder of my life.
