Nov. 11, 2015
RENO, Nev. – The Nevada cross country and track & field programs announced their eight signees at the signing day press conference Wednesday afternoon. The class features five international competitors and good mix of sprinters, throwers and distance runners. The signees, and their highlights, are listed below.
Franziska Kindt: Germany
Kindt, one of two recruits from Germany, specializes in the long hurdles. Her personal record of 59.71 in the 400 meter hurdles would rank third in school history. Both her 100 meter and 200 meter time rank up near the Nevada all-time top-10. She has also competed in the 4x100 and 4x400 relay.
Zoe Fitch: England
Fitch will come to Nevada from across the pond as a javelin thrower. She has a personal best throw of 40.78 meters, or almost 134 feet.
Hiley Dobbs: Donald A. Wilson High School - Ontario, Canada
Dobbs will dip down south to compete for Nevada as a long distance runner. She was the top senior at last weekend’s Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations’ Cross Country Championships. Dobbs is ranked in both the 1500 meter and 3000 meter according to OFSSA, finishing second in the 3000 meter run at the OFSAA Championships this past spring. Her best 10,000 meter time of 37:18.49, in her first attempt at the event, puts her near the Nevada school top-10.
Delaney White: Santa Rosa High School - Santa Rosa, Calif.
White is a long distance runner who placed first in her division at the Mt. Sac Cross Country Invitational, one of the largest meets in the nation. Her 5,000 meter personal best of 17:56 would put her in the top-five on the all-time freshman 5K list for cross country. She has ran a 5:01.52 for the 1600 meter and a 10:58.42 in the 3200.
Tegan Wilson: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Wilson is a midseason transfer from up north who will run the short sprints for the Pack. She is currently ranked ninth in Canada for the 100 meter dash. She also finished 12th overall in the 200 meter at the Youth Olympics Games in Nanjing, China.

Adria Barich: Casa Grande High School - Petaluma, Calif.

Barich will compete in both
track and cross country.
