THIS YEAR: Senior Aaron Brown again is coming off an outstanding campaign which saw him earn All-America status in both the 100m and 200m dashes, place second in both at the Pac-12 Championships, establish the Loker Stadium record in the 100m dash and tie for third place on USC's all-time list in the event. 2013: In the Pac-12 semifinals on May 11, Brown's time of 10.07 in the 100m dash set a Loker Stadium record, tied for the fourth-fastest time in conference history, and became the third-fastest time ever run by a Trojan. Placed second in both the 200m (20.53) and the 100m dash (10.08) at the Pac-12 Championships on May 12. Also placed second in the men's 4x100 relay clocking in at 39.94 with teammates Bryan Mercado, BeeJay Lee and Davonte Stewart. Finished fifth in the 100m dash finals at the NCAA Championships on June 7, with a wind-aided (+3.2) PR of 10.01. Brown's time was the fastest-ever in the event by a Trojan at the NCAA Championships, and USC has had six athletes finish in the top 3 in the event. On June 5, he qualified for the finals in the 100m dash at the NCAA Championships by clocking in a PR of 10.05. His time moved him into third place on USC's all-time list in the event. Became first Trojan to score in the 100m dash since Ahmad Rashad placed second in 2009. Qualified for the NCAA finals in the 200m dash with another wind-aided PR of 20.26 (+3.1). In the finals of the 200m dash, Brown placed fifth with a time of 20.33. Nellum and Brown were the first pair of Trojans to score in this event at the NCAAs in the same season since Clancy Edwards and James Sanford finished first and third respectively in 1978.In his first official races of the season, Brown won the 100m dash at the Florida Relays on April 5 with a wind-aided time of 10.15 (+2.1) and placed second in the 200m dash with a time of 20.64. For his efforts he was named Pac-12 Track Athlete of the Week for April 1-7. 2012: Won the 100m dash at the Trojan Invitational on March 24 with a then-PR of 10.25, just .02 seconds outside of USC's all-time top 10. Had a wind-aided (+3.1) then PR of 10.09 to win the 100m dash at the Texas Relays on March 31. Won the 100m (10.33) and 200m (20.53) dashes at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on April 29. Set a then wind-legal 100m dash PR of 10.18 in winning the Pac-12 title to move into seventh place on USC's all-time list. Also, came in second in the 200m race with a then PR of 20.55 and ran on USC's sixth-place 4x100m relay team. Advanced to the NCAA finals in the 200m dash where he placed seventh with a time of 21.13 (-4.2w), after qualifying with a then winded aided PR of 20.44 (+2.4). Also earned second-team All-America honors in the 100m dash, placing 16th with a time of 10.26. Qualified for the Canadian Olympic team in the 200m dash and reached the Olympic semifinals, where he finished ninth by setting a PR of 20.42 and only missing the finals by one spot. His time was the eighth-fastest ever by a Trojan. 2011: Won the 100m dash at the Trojan Tri-Meet on April 2 with a PR of 10.38. Won his first Dual Meet 100m dash title with a time of 10.47 on May 1.Had a season-best 200m time of 21.11 to place second at Mt. Sac. on April 15. He tied his PR of 10.38 in advancing to the finals in the 100m dash at the Pac-10s, but then could not run in the finals due to aggravating a hamstring injury in the 200m dash later that day. Brown was able to nurse his hamstring into shape to compete in the 100m dash at the NCAA Preliminary Rounds held in Eugene, Ore. He advanced out of the regional with a time of 10.42 to place 11th with the top 12 advancing to the championships. He ran 10.55 to place 20th at the NCAA Championships in Des Moines, Ia. and earn honorable mention All-America. Placed third in the 100m with a time of 10.39 at the Canadian T&F Championships on June 24. Ran on Canada's 4x100m relay which placed second at the Pan Am Games in July. HIGH SCHOOL: Brown attended Birchmount Park High in Ontario, Canada. He won a bronze medal in the 200m dash and took fifth in the 100m at the 2010 IAAF World Junior Championships held in Stade Moncton, Canada. Brown's 21.00 time in the 200m was a new PR and he posted a wind-aided 10.37 time in the 100m preliminaries before placing fifth with a time of 10.48. Was one of three finalists for the 2010 Canadian Youth T&F Athlete of the Year and was named the Canadian Youth T&F Athlete of the Year award-winner in 2009. He was the 2009 World Youth 100m silver medalist and is the Canadian Youth 100m record-holder with a time of 10.46. Brown is also the Ontario Junior Indoor 200m record-holder. He won the Canadian Metro Regional 100m title with a time of 10.38w. He was the 2009 Youth National Champion in both the 100m and 200m. This indoor season he was the the Canadian Junior 60m and 200m champion and the 2010 Nike Indoor National Champion in the 200m (21.54).
