'Hairy Harriers... not quite as bushy as Jamul Toads but shaggy nonetheless... this Humboldt Lumberjacks squad WON NCAAs here in 1980... unfortunately we (San Francisco State) were in that same Far Western Conference and so I therefore got utterly crushed by green and gold clad runners on a near weekly basis...led by one of the most underrated coaches in America, Jim Hunt... just brilliant...the cat just to the right of him is building his own coaching legacy at the helm of Cal Poly SLO... thought some of you left coasters in particular would dig this'
