I ran the third leg of the distance medley (440, 880, 1320, Mile) in this meet in 1958 for Lincoln of San Francisco.  It was a dirt track at that time and it was located along the main street.  Now the track is all-weather and is above the school.

Tim Bruder was the long-time coach and auto shop teacher.  His sister Roberta (Bruder) Chisam coaches at St. Francis in Mountain View.

 

El Dorado of Placerville, which is coached by Peanut Harms, won the boys and girls team competition.
