Student Athletes Need A Bill Of Rights Argues Youth Sports Safety Alliance
I was disturbed to see how many commenters at Huffington Post made snarky and dismissive remarks about the story. Student athletes deserve better than that. A co-worker's son, his only child, died suddenly of a hidden heart ailment while playing soccer a few years ago, and it was a complete tragedy. Dismissing pre-sports physicals as "unneeded spending" is callous and cruel.
