Woodland Coach Chuck Bruns writes: "Wednesday, Oct. 3rd on the Muller Vineyard property TCC #2 meet with Woodland HS as host. WHS girls varsity continue undefeated one meet short of 5 year streak, River Valley (Yuba City, CA) took home 2nd straight season win in Varsity and JV boys and beat WHS (previous meeting winner) in JV girls. 94 degrees high recorded."
Swarnjit Boyal (River Valley, Yuba City), fifth in the SJS Division 3200 in 9:38.92 and ninth in the SJS Masters in 9:41.51, won the varsity boys race in 17:58. In the boys Division II race at the Stanford Invitational, senior he placed 19th out of 249 runners with a time of 16:44.
Leanne Jarvis (River Valley), sixth in the Stanford Invitational Division 2 in 19:06, won the varsity girls race in 21:53.
