After a standout career as two-sport, Aggie student-athlete in which she distinguished herself as one of the top distance runners in school history, Kim Conley begins her first season in 2009-10 as an assistant coach with the track and field team. Conley also serves as an assistant with the cross country program.

She arrives at her new role after a enjoying an impressive competitive career. Her track accomplishments were highlighted by qualifying for a pair of NCAA Division I West Region Championships in both the 1,500 and 5,000 while breaking a nearly 25-year-old record in the latter when she went 16:23.58 in 2008. She lowered that mark by more than six seconds during her senior year in 2009.

Conley also ranks No. 2 on the program's all-time 1,500 list with a time of 4:22.17 and - while she only ran the event sparingly - is No. 7 on the 800 ledger at 2:10.73.

Her cross country was just as noteworthy. She earned All-Big West Conference honors as a senior after placing seventh at the league meet before adding All-West Region accolades with a 12th-place finish. She earned an at-large berth to the national championships with her regional finish. Her career also included individuals titles at several meets including the Division I Independent Championships and an NCAA regional appearance in 2007.
