Berkeley's Old Record at the Martinez Relays

Berkeley High School set the boy's distance medley relay record of 10:17.3 in 1965. That record has lasted 45 years. Ralph Gamez, the two-time state meet champion in the two mile, ran for Berkeley at the time.

thought that distance medley record was 10:13.3. are you sure about 10:17.3? The 2 mile relay was also 7:44.2.

the Jesuit DM record of 9:56 is 17 seconds faster than BHS and EC. That's unbelievable! Who was on that team? It takes a 47 flat, 1:50.0 flat 3:10 1320 and a 4:08 mile to run a 9:56! A lot of colleges cant run that!
