Hi,

Bill Morgan, who was a Bay Area international class runner back in the
60's and is one of our Reunion group (although he was never a West
Valley TC member), has been living in Brazil for many years and is
coming back very soon to have some medical issues checked out.  Bill
is in his mid-70's and was diagnosed in Brazil as having
osteoarthritis.  He can still walk, but very slowly.  He wants to get
a second opinion from a good doctor in the Bay Area, and also have
some other heath issues checked.  If the doctor is or was a runner,
that would be helpful.  The doctor cannot be part of a plan like
Kaiser Permanente.  If you can suggest a good doctor(s) whom Bill
could contact, that would be very helpful.  I realize I'm sending this
e-mail to many people who live outside the Bay Area, and you can
probably ignore this request for help. Please send me any feedback at
your earliest convenience.  Thank you very much.

Keith Conning:  Bill is a true San Franciscan: he sold papers as a kid on the corner of Haight and Ashbury; he set a new Prep City mile mark for Lowell High School and received a degree from S.F. State College. As a world class runner, he established a new record for the Bay to Breakers foot race and represented his country in the USA-USSR track meet at Kiev. http://www.northbeachleathers.com/AUTHOR_BIO.html
