    The biigest mistake Cal made in years- not allowing Best to run track. His HS times would have made Cal's all-time lists. Best could have had a pro-track career.
    Other majors, especially SEC teams allow footballers to participate in track and field. USC and UCLA made a career in letting them participate. Cant beleive it was Best's decision- I heard he was told no. Mabey instead of over-using him at tailback could have been prevented also, contributing to a short lived career in football.
